The Challenge: To build an audience and following for the new restaurant located in the unique and sparse area of Frogtown, alongside the LA river.


The Execution: WOC partnered with owner Billy Silverman joining the Salazar team while the restaurant was still in the conceptualization phase. WOC worked with numerous editors on media dinners, events, and through social platforms. WOC built the Salazar social media from scratch working in partnership to ensure the brand voice encompasses the essence of the restaurant. In terms of events, WOC has secured Salazar in numerous prestigious events, including a marquee spot in the newly launched Infatuation #eeeeeatsCON as well as a special build out at Coachella.


The Results: WOC has helped Salazar receive accolades as 10 Best New Restaurants in LA 2016 from LA Weekly, Eater, LA Magazine and more. As well, GQ recently named Salazar as a Best New Restaurant in America 2017. Outside of that, Salazar received a glowing review from LA Times dining critic Jonathan Gold.
